Sweden’s Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson has been voted onto the cover of EA Sports UFC by the game’s fans, joining Jon “Bones” Jones, EA has announced.
Gustafsson, the no. 1 Light Heavyweight contender in the world, defeated legendary Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre in the final round of fan voting to earn his place on the cover.
Jones and Gustafsson fought earlier this year in an epic five-round Light Heavyweight title fight. Jones retained the title, but is likely to face Gustafsson once again in 2014.
EA Sports UFC will be released in spring 2014 for Xbox One and PS4.
