Developer Remedy has revealed that upcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade title, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, will take between four and five hours to complete. The game could last longer if you play though “optional story content”, according to Remedy’s Oskari Häkinnen talking to GameTrailers.
American Nightmare’s plot sees Wake dragged into one of his own scripts for TV show Night Springs. On top of the campaign, a Horde-like mode called Fight ’til Dawn offers five maps and a Nightmare mode.
Alan Wake’s American Nightmare will be released as part of the Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party, which begins on February 15.
No price information for Alan Wake’s American Nightmare has been revealed, but a five-hour campaign isn’t shabby at all. Given the ample campaign length and extra game mode, a price of 1200 Microsoft Points seems likely.
