The Alan Wake 2 adventure isn’t quite over yet, as Remedy Entertainment has now teased fans with a release date for the game’s upcoming Night Springs DLC. According to creative director Sam Lake, it’ll be available…in less than 24 hours. Yes, you won’t have to wait long at all, as the expansion’s release date takes place on June 8, 2024.
Much like the first game’s DLCs (who could forget facing a Taken version of Barry in The Writer), the upcoming expansion will give you a deeper look at certain story beats, with Lake stating you can play three characters in the expansion.
Sam Lake also announced physical Deluxe and Collector’s Editions for Alan Wake 2. Both versions will be available starting tomorrow, so make sure to get your orders in. Keep in mind, though, that the former will be priced at $80, while the latter will cost $200 and is dropping in November 2024 via Limited Run Games. Check out the trailer below, so you can prepare yourself for the nightmare ahead.
This is a developing story, and more information will follow soon.
