Sony Online Entertainment has revealed that they have two new add-ons in development for Everquest II. The first expansion, titled Desert of Flames, is set in the city of Maj’dul and will include more than twelve new zones, each with an Arabian Nights theme. There’ll be more than 40 new creatures to collect, new encounters for players who are level 45 and above and a few other new features. The expansion will be available at retail later this year.

The Splitsaw Saga is only going to be available as a download and will offer two new dungeons as well as new enemies, skills and puzzles. Desert of Flames will be shown at this month’s E3 and will retail in the US for $29.99, while The Splitsaw Saga will set players back $7.99, and will be available from June 28th. No European price details have been announced.
