Attendees of the Comic-Con convention will be some of the first to see live demos of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Raven Software’s new action/RPG that gives players the ability to create their very own team of Super Heroes. Activision will also be revealing three new playable characters. Comic-Con is also the last chance fans have to audition to be in the game as the voice of Jean Grey or Namor -The King of Atlantis.

Activision will also be hosting a Marvel: Ultimate Alliance panel where legendary comics creator Stan Lee, Marvel writer C.B. Cebulski, actors Gabrielle Carteris (voice of Elektra) and Phil Lamarr (voice of Uatu), and others will be on stage to discuss how they went about bringing so many characters from the Marvel universe together for one game. This discussion will take place on July 23 at 10:30am in room 6B.

Also appearing will be Activision’s two new Spider-Man games: Spider-Man 3: The Game and Spider-Man: Battle for New York. The first title is pretty obviously based on next summer’s motion picture, but Battle for New York is a new handheld title that sees players take control of Spider-Man and the Green Goblin in an original storyline.

Comic-Con begins today and closes its doors on July 23, and you’ll find the aforementioned games over at the Activision/Marvel booth #4315.
