GAME will not stock new game releases from both Activision and Microsoft, according to a leaked memo from GAME, seen by MCV.
Confirmed titles not making their way to GAME and gamestation are Activision’s Cabela Big Game Hunter 2012 and Zhu Zhu Babies, plus Microsoft’s Kinect Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure.
MCV has also confirmed that GAME won’t be stocking the Limited Edition Star Wars Xbox 360 bundle due in April.
The memo also confirms earlier reports that Nintendo’s Inazuma 12, PokePark 2 and Kid Icarus, plus SEGA’s Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai and Yakuza: Dead Souls will not be stocked.
GAME’s staff are also warned in the memo not to respond to press enquiries and “not get involved in dialogue or comment publicly via social media, or gaming forums”.
Three parties are currently believed to be interested in buying GAME in some capacity: Comet owner OpCapita, ASDA parent Walmart and US video games retailer GameStop.
