10 Second Ninja studio Four Circle Interactive has announced its next game, a first-person RPG named Abermore.

The game puts you in the shoes of a thief planning the heist of the century in the titular city. You’ve got 18 in-game days to plan, set up and execute this job, and to do so you’ll need to undertake a series of missions to help you prepare. Over the course of the game’s campaign, you’ll undertake a series of unique missions to raise the cash, and along the way meet some of the people who can help you with the heist.

A major twist here is that every day in those eighteen days will be different. You might meet different people on each day, and they’ll give you different missions which are themselves procedurally generated. Sometimes you’ll simply be robbing locations, other missions may see you seducing an aristocrat. By the time you get to the big heist at the end of each run, you may have an entirely unique setup from the one before.

To help on your endeavours, you’ll be able to barter with traders in the Black Market you can sell your loot too. You’ll then use these funds to buy new equipment for future missions, and eventually, the main heist itself. Your thief also has access to a set of supernatural powers too. They come from tarot cards, with 14 unique ones to use. They’ve not all been revealed yet, but an example in the trailer includes a nifty Dishonored-esque teleport ability.

You can check out the trailer below, which gives things a very Thief-looking vibe. You won’t have to wait long either, as Abermore arrives on PC on March 29, 2022.
