Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has issued a statement to ThreeSpeech.com thanking the LittleBigPlanet community for an “amazing start” which has seen 84,000 individual levels uploaded and more than 27 million level play throughs completed.
“We couldn’t be happier with the initial efforts from our community members; the variety and quality of some of the creations has been astounding. We’ve seen everything from great platform adventures, puzzles and quizzes through to stories and races. We have even had a wedding proposal created entirely in the game!” read the statement.
LittleBigPlanet finally debuted in the UK on November 5, following a delayed release because of the inclusion of an inappropriate song on the soundtrack, and entered the UK All Formats Full Price video game chart at no.4.
