The 500GB and 1TB versions of the Xbox One S will release in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand on Tuesday, August 23, Microsoft has announced.

The 500GB console will come bundled with free copies of with Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and will be available for $299 USD. That's $100 cheaper than the 2TB model releasing next Tuesday.

The 1TB model, meanwhile, will include a free digital copy of this year's Madden NFL 17, and is priced at $349.

UK release dates have yet to be announced, although Microsoft says it will discuss more about its plans for "additional markets" next month. In the meantime, UK gamers will be able to pick up a 2TB Xbox One S for £349.99 from next Tuesday, August 2.

The new Xbox One S includes a 40% smaller design over the standard Xbox One, a 4K Blu-ray player and support for HDR.
