343 Industries is developing a “new project line in the Halo universe”, a new job listing has revealed.
The ad suggests Microsoft could be preparing a new Halo spin-off similar to earlier releases Halo Wars and top-down shooter Halo: Spartan Assault.
But while there isn’t any indication as to whether the game will be a AAA title or mobile spin-off, Microsoft says that it expects the game to hit “the quality expected of a title within the Halo Franchise”.
The next two Halo titles, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo 5: Guardians, are due out this Christmas and next respectively.
