Top-down shooter Halo: Spartan Strike has been delayed to early 2015 to offer 343 more time to concentrate on fixing Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
A post on Halo Waypoint explains the decision: “Earlier this year, we announced Halo: Spartan Strike, our latest touch-based top-down shooter for Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Steam, will be available on Dec. 12.
“While we’re excited about this all-new Halo experience, our commitment to resolving the current matchmaking issues in Halo: The Master Chief Collection remains the top priority. As a result, we have decided to move the release of Halo: Spartan Strike to early 2015.
“We can’t wait to show you more of Halo: Spartan Strike early next year.”
Halo: Spartan Strike is being co-developed by 343 Industries and Vanguard Games.
