Blizzard Entertainment has announced that an additional 250,000 copies of World of Warcraft will hit European stores on April 15th. While restocking a game doesn’t seem all that news worthy, the new boxes will include a ten day trial for a friend to use. Once the ten day trial is up, a retail copy of the game is required in order to continue playing the game.
“The success of World of Warcraft has proven our belief in Europe as a strong online gaming market”, said Mike Morhaime, president of Blizzard Entertainment. “We are delighted to now be in a position to provide more boxes to retail and to welcome more players into the game.”
Maybe now is the time to try and convince a friend to cease his/her normal life and start an online adventure with you.
