Rockstar’s LA Noire generated over £10 million at retail last week, according to a report by MCV. The game helped UK retail take £24 million, which is the highest total since the first week of 2011.
Two weeks ago UK games retail only managed to shift 573,506 units, a five-year low for the industry. Last week 876,986 games were sold at retail.
Rockstar Games’ LA Noire debuted at the top of the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart, becoming the fastest-selling new video game IP ever in the UK.
