A new challenger is entering the football gaming world as we ready ourselves for the UFL release date. The new game from Strikerz Inc. is designed to rival the best football games around, and we can’t wait to see what it has to offer.
As you would expect, EA’s FC 24 will be the game to beat this year. Konami’s eFootball 2024 and Sports Interactive’s Football Manager 2024 make up the trio of established games. However, UFL and the new GOALS game are attempting to disrupt the status quo.

What is the UFL release date window?
The UFL release date window has been set for 2023. This was confirmed back in August 2022, so it has been a full year since the announcement. With just a few months left of the year, time is running out for UFL to confirm an official release date.
“We at Strikerz Inc. have always set a very high bar for ourselves, both inside and outside the studio,” stated CEO Eugene Nashilov. “Our goal now, as it was then, is nothing less than the delivery of a triple-A quality, reactive, realistic football simulator featuring top-of-the-line graphics and gameplay.”
With the football season starting, this is the perfect time to release a new football game. EA Sports’ new title FC 24 will be released alongside eFootball 2024, and Football Manager 2024 slightly later in the calendar.
What licences are in UFL?
A host of UFL partners and ambassadors have been confirmed. However, their roles within the game remain unclear. As part of the PSV announcement, PSV welcomed Strikerz Inc. as a partner for games development, without confirming the presence of the team or its players in the game.
European clubs such as West Ham, PSV, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, and Monaco are all confirmed partners of the game. Individual players such as Belgian stars Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku are brand ambassadors of the game too as they help to shape the future of football video gaming.
International music superstar Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports represents both De Bruyne and Lukaku, and helped broker the deal. Roc Nation Sports also represents American Football stars Saquon Barkley and Leonard Fournette, and you can find both players in the new Madden NFL 24 game.

Is UFL free?
UFL will be free upon release. Strikerz Inc. has confirmed that the game will be free on major consoles, which will surely include Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC. We await any confirmation regarding Nintendo Switch.
According to the official website, the game will also come with regular new features and updates at no additional cost. The game is designed to be a fair to play experience emphasizing a skill-first approach with zero pay-to-win options.
