Reputation is the name of the game in Star Wars Outlaws. The jobs you get from the factions are determined by how much of a reputation you have with them. If you are in good standing, you get bonus rewards and more opportunities. After meeting your first Crimson Dawn contact, you get the opportunity to go sneaking around the Pike’s territory. This is where you find out about a traitor. Should you tell Eleera about the Pike traitor in Star Wars Outlaws or should you save that information for Gorak?

Should you side with Crimson Dawn or the Pykes?

When you meet up with Eleera at the end of the quest, you will have two options; Tell Eleera about the Pyke traitor or save the information for Gorak. First and foremost, the main reward for this is the reputation boost you get to whichever faction you choose. This reputation boost will put you in good standing with the faction of your choosing. This comes into play later on.

You will need to sneak into Pyke territory again later on which is easier when you have a good reputation with the faction.

As far as choosing a faction for the ending of this quest, we believe it is better to choose the Pykes. The main reason for this is that another quest for the Crimson Dawn is coming soon so you will get a reputation boost from that. Depending on your choice during the next quest as well, you will need to get a piece of equipment from the Pykes. This is much easier to do if you have good standing with the faction. This will allow you to simply walk into the Pyke’s territory. As long as you aren’t caught committing a crime in the territory, you won’t lose your reputation and everything will be much easier.

You can sneak into Crimson Dawn territory to retrieve the black market item in the next quest as well but we still recommend taking the increase in Pyke reputation.

If you decide that you want to tell Eleera about the traitor, you will get a reputation boost for Crimson Dawn and be able to unlock a blaster skin for your troubles thanks to the reputation rewards. Of course, the benefits from the other side outweigh what you will get from Crimson Dawn in this instance.
