Selo is a master mechanic who can do some pretty amazing things to your speeder. She can also build some pretty awesome gadgets like the Smoke Bomb. The Smoke Bomb Compressor can easily be found near Imperial territory. You just need to watch your back and make sure you don’t get laser-blasted. Let’s break down how to get the Smoke Bomb Compressor in Star Wars Outlaws so you can disappear.

How to get the Smoke Bomb Compressor

Before you can get the Smoke Bomb Compressor in Star Wars Outlaws, it is important to note that you cannot get this item until you have completed The Mechanic quest and have gotten your speeder modded. This will unlock Selo’s workshop and the Smoke Bomb Compressor intel. The intel will point you to the northern Imperial territory that is to the north of Selo’s workshop. Follow the roads and you will come across a large cave opening with harsh winds blasting through it.

Give your speeder a speed boost to get through the cave and you will come across a cliff. Use your grappling hook to climb the cliff. Following this path will lead you into The Fallen Mound. Continue along the marked path to a tree branch you can swing across. On the other side, you will find some harsh winds. You will need to time this part so you cross the pathways while the winds aren’t blowing.

After getting through the first set of winds, sneak past the large beast. Climb up the cliff to the next windy area. Run through the first winds when they die down and then use your grappling hook to swing across the gap when the next set of winds die down.

✓ Pro Tip

Don’t get hit by the winds as they will launch you back to where you came from, hurting you in the process. The second set of winds will launch you into the beast that you hid from early.

Use your grappling hook to climb down the cliff and follow the path to more windy tunnels. You will see a device in the distance. Shoot this device with your Ion Rounds and it will temporarily stop the winds long enough for you to run up the path and squeeze through a tunnel. You can use the rocks along the path to protect yourself from the winds if you can’t reach the tunnel in time.

At the other end of the tunnel, use your Ion Rounds again to disable a device on the wall. While the winds are stopped, run across the path over to the computer console. Have Nix hold down one of the levers while you hold the other to open the door in the room. Disable the winds and run back across the path and through the door.

You can get the Overgrown Amber Stone Major Charm which increases your health.

Follow the path to the turbo-lift, being sure to grab the charm in the chest along the way. At the bottom of the lift, you will see a chest. Open it to get the Smoke Bomb Compressor. With the item found, you can go into your menu to unlock the Smoke Bombs. You don’t even need to go to Selo for more speeder upgrades.
