Rise of the Ronin comes from Team Ninja, the studio responsible for Nioh and Ninja Gaiden, and is going to be published by Koei Tecmo Games. Like those titles, it’s an action RPG adventure game set in 19th-century Japan. You take the role of a customizable ronin – a wandering samurai – during the Bakumatsu period of upheaval in the land. Your choices throughout the adventure will matter, ranging from siding with different factions, meeting historical figures, and reaching one of the game’s multiple endings. It was initially a PlayStation exclusive (read our review here), but it’s getting a PC release soon. Rise of the Ronin PC release date and time
Rise of the Ronin was released for PC on March 11, 2025. This follows a year after the game’s initial release for PlayStation in March of 2024.
Which PC platforms was Rise of the Ronin released on?
Rise of the Ronin was released through Steam. There is no mention of any other PC platforms, like Epic Games Store or GOG. In addition, it’s unlikely that the game will be coming to the Xbox Game Pass either.
Rise of the Ronin PC early purchase bonuses
