Pokemon Sleep offers many different Pokémon from Charmander and Squirtle to Swablu and Ekans. Try to discover them all. Here are some tips to help you better your Sleep Research in Pokémon Sleep.

Pokemon Sleep Tips and Tricks – Beginner’s Guide to Sleep Research

Pokémon Sleep isn’t your typical Pokémon game. Instead of a team, you have helper Pokémon that will help you complete your research. Grab your pillow and pay attention to the five tips we have listed below that will help you with your sleep research.

Pick a schedule and stick to it

Pokémon Sleep function while you are well… Sleeping! Because of this, it is important that you set a bedtime and stick to your schedule. This will help maximize the number of Sleep Points you get the next morning.

If you keep your sleep sessions on a schedule, you will also get bonuses such as Diamonds to use in the in-game store, Dream Shards, and Honey. Each morning, the app gives you a graph that will help determine your sleep type – Snoozing, Dozing, and Slumbering.

Your sleeping pattern determines what type of Pokémon will appear around Snorlax. While we can’t help you get a good night’s rest, sticking to a schedule can certainly help maximize the sleep you get.

Keep your Pokémon happy and energized

A happy Pokémon is a productive Pokémon. In Pokémon Sleep, you have helper Pokémon that will aid you in your research by gathering ingredients and berries throughout the day. This, in turn, will increase Snorlax’s Drowsy Power. More Drowsy Power means better sleep data and more Pokémon appearing.

This cycle continues to stay productive if you keep your Pokémon happy and energized. Things like Energy Pillows will help you increase your Pokémon’s energy. You should also have a Pokémon like Ekans with an energy ability on your team.

Don’t be wasteful with Poke Biscuits

Poke Biscuits don’t grow on trees, they are bought in a shop. These Biscuits will help you catch Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep. This is done by feeding Pokémon biscuits and raising their friendship levels. While you might be tempted to just feed Pokémon until they become your friends, that isn’t how it works.

Look for Pokémon that are hungry. When you find one, feed it a Poke Biscuit. This has a chance of getting a big hit or a mega hit. When this happens, you will increase the Pokémon’s friendship level very quickly. You can then add the Pokémon to your sleep style dex and your team.

If you accidentally waste a Master Biscuit or Great Biscuit on a hungry Pokémon then it will be okay but remember not to do it in the future. You want to maximize the friendship gains from these Biscuits. Keep in mind that Shiny Pokemon appear as well.

Feed Snorlax until it bursts

As we mentioned earlier, your Pokémon will gather berries and ingredients throughout the day. While the berries will go straight to feeding Snorlax, the ingredients will be stored. Be sure to use these ingredients for cooking recipes.

Feed Snorlax breakfast, lunch, and dinner to maximize the amount of Drowsy Power it has and make it grow stronger. Each day, you will be told what food Snorlax is looking for so you can craft it at your camp. Who knows, one dish might be your specialty.

Incense can be a powerful tool when used correctly. This item can be found in the in-game store and, depending on which version you use, will have different effects.

Incense can make more Pokémon appear, double your EXP gains, double your Dream Shards, and increase your Pokémons’ energy. Utilizing an Incense each night will help you further your research, discover more Pokémon, and get more experience.

That is everything for our beginner’s guide to Pokémon Sleep. Be sure to keep up with the latest Pokémon Sleep events so you don’t miss out on some great bonuses.
