If Pokémon is only served for battles and legends/monsters creatures, then there is no way Pikachu becomes the most well-known Pokémon to us.

Among those trainers who are always searching for strong Pokémon to completely devastate their opponents and finish the game as soon as possible, there are still some of us who prefer aesthetics or good-looking ones regardless of how strong or weak they are.

Wingull appears as the ideal representation and this article is about how to evolve Wingull into Pelipper in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet!

Where to find Wingull

According to Pokedex, Wingull can be seen and captured in those places:

  • Poco Path North
  • Province (Area Three)
  • South Province (Area One)
  • West Province (Area One)
  • West Province (Area Two)
  • South Paldean Sea
  • West Paldean Sea

When you just start your journey, you can catch your own Wingull at level 3 in Poco Path. Later, Wingull can be captured throughout the ocean in West Province or appear in the sky of the South Paldean Sea with levels within 3-26.

Inspired by seagulls, Wingull often acts like a glider, showing off its flying skill thanks to its long wings.

Wingull has “Keen eyes” as its primary ability, which can prevent opponents from lowering its accuracy. In addition, Wingull can heal HP itself, however only in rainy conditions. “Supersonic” is listed as Wingull’s outstanding move, which can cause confusion to opponents. But this move has a backwardness that can even hurt itself as well.

How to Evolve Wingull into Pelipper

Wingull will become Pelipper at level 25 with a lot of changes in appearance and strength. Besides some abilities retained from Wingull, Pelipper can turn the weather into rain conditions when in battle throughout “Drizzle”.

After evolution, Pelipper can learn some cool moves like Roost – a move that allows Pelipper to regain half of its HP but is unable to fly temporarily – or Hydro Pump – a Water move that can cause 100 damage.

Without training, you can easily catch Pelipper in the following locations:

  • Casseroya Lake
  • South Province (Area One)
  • West Province (Area One)
  • West Province (Area Two)
  • North Paldean Sea
  • South Paldean Sea

Pelipper plays a role like a carrier, transport other Pokemons or its babies thanks to its big beak. You will find it effortless to catch Pelipper since it appears in the same habitat as its stage 1, Grass or Electric-type Pokemon is a good choice to easily beat it.

Final Thoughts

And that’s all about how to evolve Wingull into Pelipper in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet!

Although this Pokemon is highly underrated via its humbled stats, it still can be a good companion in battles, especially against Fire/Rock Pokemon. But be wise when facing Electric/Ice type or your Pelipper will be a loser then.
