How to Release Pokémon on Nintendo Switch 

The process of releasing Pokémon on Pokémon Home varies from device to device. To release Pokemon on your Nintendo Switch, follow these simple steps:

• Launch Pokémon Home on your device.
• Click ZR/ZL to cycle through selection modes. Stop once you get to the red selection mode- this will allow you to release your Pokémon.
• Select the desired Pokémon and keep scrolling down until you see a ‘release icon’.

How to Release Pokémon on Mobile

If you use Pokémon Home on your mobile device, the process will be a little different. Note that you won’t be able to release Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Arceus on the mobile version.

• Launch Pokémon Home and click ‘Your Room’ from the Main Menu.
