Persona 5 Tactica – how to complete Quest 8 The Rightful Prince

Persona 5 Tactica Quest 8 has you lending Morgana a hand as she valiantly aims to protect Ann from as the team cleans up the Aizen Squad enemies still lingering around the base and bothering the townsfolk. Like other quests, this takes you to a battle arena with a win condition tacked on – defeat all enemies within 7 turns.

Team composition

Morgana and Ann are fixed picks for your party composition in Quest 8, meaning you have a single slot to fill with the Phantom Thief of your choice. The mission is very generous in terms of allowed turns so there’s no real prerequisites when it comes to your final party member. Yusuke, Makoto, Joker, and Erina are all solid options, but any Phantom Thief will do here. We chose Erina.

How to beat Persona 5 Tactica Quest 8

To beat the quest, you’ll have to make use of the buttons scattered around the arena to open doors and reach all the enemies within seven turns. Here’s a step-by-step walkthrough to complete Quest 8 in P5T with a few turns to spare:

• Switch to Ann and move her to the red button in her starting area to open the door near your two other phantoms.
• Switch to Erina and move her into the now accessible room ahead.
• Switch to Morgana and do the same, but move her as close as you can to the locked door, then use her gun attack on the enemy closest to the door you just went through to get a One More Attack.
• Switch to Ann and move her to the blue button to open the door ahead of Morgana and Ann.
• Switch to Morgana and move into the now-open room and behind the crates near the larger enemy.

• Switch to Erina, then move her near the downed enemy by the first door you went through to create a Triple Threat triangle. Use her gun to down the still standing exposed enemy near the second door to get a One More Attack.

• Switch to Morgana and trigger the Triple Threat.
• Switch to Erina and unleash a second Triple Threat.
• Skip ahead to the next turn.

• Switch to Morgana and move her onto the blue button in the same room. Use a Persona attack to take out one of the remaining enemies close by.
• Switch to Ann and move her as forward into the now-accessible room with the wooden crates.
• Switch to Erina and move her as far forward as you can then use a Persona attack to take out one of the remaining enemies close by.
• Skip to the next turn.
• Switch to Morgana and move her to the red button in the same room.
• Switch to Ann, move forward through the crates then use a Persona skill to take out the drum enemy in the same room.
• Skip the turn.

• Switch to Ann and use a Persona skill, ideally something powerful like Maragidyne, on the large enemy in the room ahead.
• If need be, use the turns left over to mop up any remaining enemies.
