The best teams to rebuild in Madden 25 Franchise mode are:
- Washington Commanders
- Indianapolis Colts
- Chicago Bears
- Atlanta Falcons
- Seattle Seahawks
Madden 25 is here, and that means Franchise mode is back with a bang. But with so many teams to choose from, and many players used to the rigours of Franchise mode already, they’ll be looking for a challenging save this year, and there’s no better option than for a rebuild.
That’s why we’ve gone through the game and picked out our five favourite teams that we think would make ideal rebuild saves in Madden 25, whether that’s because of the challenges they face or the talented rookies they have for you to develop. With that, let’s take a look at Madden 25’s best teams to rebuild.
Best teams to rebuild in Franchise mode
The top five teams to rebuild in Madden 25’s Franchise mode are:
- Washington Commanders
- Indianapolis Colts
- Chicago Bears
- Atlanta Falcons
- Seattle Seahawks
Washington Commanders
The Commanders might not be in a position to challenge just now, but with some exciting young talent coming up, the right coach could be able to shape them into one of the best teams in the NFL in no time. QB Jayden Daniels is one of the most promising young players in the league and will undoubtedly be the core of your team, while other young stars like Johnny Newton and Frankie Luvu are also going to be key. If you’re after a challenge focused on developing young talent, the Commanders are an ideal pick.
Indianapolis Colts
The Colts start off in Madden 25 with some pretty decent players, with LG Quenton Nelson, HB Jonathan Taylor and DT DeForest Buckner being the standouts. However, their team also features some promising rookies like QB Anthony Richardson, WRs Josh Downs, and Adonai Mitchell, who are making their way through the ranks. You’ll look a little light on defense initially, but with some smart building over a few seasons, you could have a pretty intimidating team on your hands.
Chicago Bears
The Bears are another solid team that, while they might not be challenging for the Super Bowl in your first year, have some incredible prospects coming through. WRs Keenan Allen and D.J. Moore, CB Jaylon Johnson and FS Kevin Byard III will be your star players from the start, but your attention should be on 22-year-old QB Caleb Williams. A solid, all-around team with a dynamite young QB should be a pretty inviting prospect for any player’s save.
Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons are a team that could genuinely be a threat in your first year of Franchise mode. FS Jessie Bates III is one of the best players in this year’s game, and is backed up by RG Chris Lindstrom and CB A.J. Terrell Jr. While you’ll start with the decently rated Kirk Cousins at QB, he’s already nearly 36, but luckily you’ll have young talent Michael Penix Jr ready to step in. Develop him well, and you could have a real star QB leading an already strong team to victory.
Seattle Seahawks
Despite making the playoffs only two years ago, it’s been nothing but downhill for the Seahawks ever since. Despite a solid team featuring the likes of WR Tyler Lockett and HB Kenneth Walker III, they lack any decent QB, with 78-rated Geno Smith being their current best option. With no promising QBs on the roster, bringing in a star QB to play around the strengths of this stagnating team will be key to competing for the Super Bowl in the seasons to come.
