Your tower defence runs live and die by the placement and fighting abilities of your villagers. One wrong placement or, heaven forbid, one of them dies, and it’s not long before the Seethe stampede their way to Yoshiro. Soh’s a able fighter, but he needs all help he can get.

To counter this and keep your allies in top fighting shape, you can upgrade specific villager roles using a currency called Musubi. It’s usually dished out as a reward as you progress but it’s generally in quite short supply, especially as you get more and more roles that need upgrading. We’ll walk you through how to get more Musubi.

Where to get Musubi in Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess

There are four ways to get Musubi:

  • Complete stages – Successfully pushing back the onslaught of Seethe and clearing the defilement in each stage nets you a small haul of Musubi. The lower you get down Mt. Kafuku, the larger the Musubi rewards.

  • Defeat bosses – Downing bosses is where you’ll get the largest amount of Musubi, with later enemies rewarding as much as 40 Musubi. Every boss also comes with an optional objective to defeat it within a set time limit with, again, Musubi, as a reward.

You can keep track of how much Musubi you have at any giving time by looking in the top right of the screen. The left-most purse icon denotes Musubi, while the middle one is Heals, and the right one tallies up Crystals.
