After a heated discussion with Thomas on the way to Bergow, you’ll set up camp for the night as part of the Easy Riders main quest. As you regain control of Henry, your trusty dog, Mutt, will be barking, bothering Oats for some food by the fire pot at the centre of the camp. While the chief quest objective is to discuss the plan with Sir Hans, you’ll get an optional one for telling Mutt to quiet down: find something to eat for Mutt and feed him.
Given you can’t venture beyond the camp, don’t have any weapons to hunt, and can’t cook any food, it can be a tad confusing figuring out what to do to tick the optional objective. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to find something to eat for Mutt in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

How to feed Mutt in the Easy Riders quest
To find something to eat for Mutt, approach Oats by the fire pot and select talk to him. Choose the first option ‘have you got some food my dog?’ Henry will ask Oats if he can spare any grub for the hound. Oats will reveal that Mutt already stole a piece of venison when Oats was relieving himself. He only has a single sausage left that he’s saving for later.
Once Oats stop talking, select the ‘we’ll get food at Trosky’ dialogue option. Henry suggests they’ll be plenty of food once they reach Trosky and that Oats’ sausages are only fit for a dog. Oats will disagree with some colourful language, but agree to trade the sausage for his ring.

Get Oats’ ring back from Tankard
To get the ring, you’ll need to beat Tankard at a game of dice. Head over to the table and speak to Tankard then select ‘how about playing dice for the ring?’ Tankard is happy with the wager, though if you lose you’ll have to pay for everything he orders in the tavern in Trosky. To make winning easier, you can loot a Weighted Die from the chest in the cave behind the dice table, which mysteriously tends to land on 1.
Win the game of dice and Tankard will hand over Oats’ Ring. Return it to Oats to get the sausage, then feed it to Mutt. Look at the dog and tap L Alt to Chat and then choose Feed. Select the smoked sausage. Doing so will wrap up the ‘find something to eat for Mutt’ objective and allow you to press on with the Easy Riders quest.
