In the Carrot on a Stick task, Stanislav the shepherd asks Henry to track down his brand new pal, a freshly-purchased ram that’s gone for a walkabout in the forest not far from Apollonia. Per the task blurb, there’s a good chance the animal is somewhere in the clearing by the path in the forest.

If this is your first encounter with a sheep or ram, then know that the only way to lure one is with carrots in your inventory, so make sure to stock up a grocer’s before heading east to find the ram. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to find the lost ram in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

Where to find the lost ram in Carrot on a Stick

To find the lost ram, head east on the road next to Stanislav’s farm then into the forest, aiming for the location marked on the map in the image above. There, you’ll find a clearing in the forest with thick grass on the ground. At the center of the patch of grass is the ram, which, it turns out, is an old friend if you took on the quest to find Mutt. It’s Ignatius, the intrepid ram that helped you lure the wolf pack for the shepherd.

Talk to Ignatius and a wolf pack will show up. Fend them off while keeping close to Ignatius. Once the coast is clear, go back to Ignatius and press on back to Stanislav’s farm. It can be a little tricky keeping him in check as he does like to stop and loiter about. We recommend walking instead of running and sticking to paths. If he stands still, approach him and he should start moving again. Chatting to him also seems to keep him tethered to Henry and unlocks some terrible ovine-themed dad jokes to keep you entertained for the duration of the trek.

When you’re at the farm, guide Ignatius into the pen at the back. Head over to Stanislav to share the good news. You’ll receive Cheap Wine, 12 groschen, and a Weak Marigold Decoction for trouble. This will also wrap up the Carrot on a Stick task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
