Is Meet Your Maker crossplay? Behaviour Interactive’s new title, released on April 4th, 2023, offers players a unique take on the multiplayer FPS formula with every in-game level designed by players. With the game launching simultaneously on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, most players looking to dive in with friends are wondering whether Meet Your Maker has crossplay.

Can you face the challenges of Meet Your Maker with friends across PC, PS5, and Xbox? In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about crossplay in Meet Your Maker.

Is Meet Your Maker Crossplay?

Meet Your Maker does not support crossplay between PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox. What this means is that you’ll only be able to jump in with friends on the same platform as you. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t support cross-progression either, meaning there’s no way to carry your progress over should you switch platforms.

While crossplay isn’t supported, Meet Your Maker supports cross-content across all platforms, allowing you to raid all player Outposts, even those of players on a different platform to your own. For example, you’ll be able to play through an Outpost designed on PS5 even if you’re playing on PC or Xbox. If you’re a dedicated map-maker, you’ll be able to craft challenges for anyone on any platform

The FAQ on the official Meet Your Maker website explains this as follows:

“The game supports cross-content across all platforms (ability to raid an Outpost built on other platforms). The game will not support crossplay nor cross-progression at launch.”

Behaviour Interactive, Meet Your Maker’s developer and publisher, stresses that the game won’t support crossplay or cross-progression at launch. This suggests the developer may have plans in the pipeline to bring those features to Meet Your Maker at some point in the future.

And that’s not all Behaviour Interactive has planned, as they’ve outlined in their Meet Your Maker post-launch DLC roadmap. With features like the Meet Your Maker and Dead By Daylight Crossover, It certainly sounds like they’ll be supporting with Meet Your Maker for a while yet.
