You can help your Zois become romantically involved and slowly over time, they can even start to date. The process involves building up friendship and closeness until it blossoms into a relationship. But there are many steps to go through, so let’s explain how to start dating in inZOI.
How to start a romance in inZOI
First things first. You have to meet the Zoi you’re interested in. Start with some small talk to get them acquainted and initiate a conversation with them by left-clicking on the other Zoi to start chatting. You don’t need to dive into romance right away – a simple friendly greeting is all it takes to begin. Keep in mind that the first few conversation options are just suggestions. For more variety, click the More option and browse additional categories.
As the two Zois interact, their “friendship” level will grow, which you can track in the relationship menu. This friendship is important before moving forward with romance. When it feels right, select romantic conversation options like complimenting their outfit or finding common interests. Don’t rush things and make sure there’s a spark before asking them on a date, or they may turn you down. Check their Zoi card to see what their interests are. You can use those topics to spark a bigger growth in friendship.
Once the pink Love bar (signifying romantic interest) begins to rise toward Mutual Crush, you’re in the clear for more personal romantic gestures like hand-holding and kissing. If things are going well, consider confessing your love before asking the other out on a date. If accepted, this will elevate their relationship to Sweetheart status, and from there you can look into setting up a date.
How to go on a date in inZOI
After the date is set, open your Zoi’s smartphone, go to the Schedule app, choose a time slot, and select Make Event. From there, select Date from the list of options on the left. A pop-up will appear to guide your Zoi when it’s time to go. Keep the romance alive by continuing to select romance options whenever you chat, and as their “Sweetheart” bar fills up, you can choose Be together as true loves dialogue suggestion. This will change their status from Sweetheart to True Love, and from here, you can start discussing bigger milestones like marriage and moving in together.
Dating tips
Take into account a few more points while your Zoi is in the early stages of the dating game. First, even if you’re rejected, you can always ask again. Just remember that your Love bar will deplete with every failed attempt, so try to rebuild the relationship first.
When organising a date, you’ll be asked to provide a location and time for the date. Check each Zoi’s schedule to make sure your date’s time slot doesn’t clash with something else, like a job for instance. Otherwise, you may have to resort to using money cheats to make ends meet if they get fired.
