Inviting friends or acquaintances to your house in inZOI sounds like an easy task. But with the game in Early Access, the process is still somewhat wonky. Unlike some other tasks which are handled through an app on your Zoi’s smartphone, inviting someone over is done through a different process. We’ll explain how you can invite your Zoi friends to your house or other locations in inZOI.
How to invite someone over in inZOI

While it would make sense to use your Zoi’s smartphone to invite someone over – like you would to get a job or even buy a car – the process is actually hidden in a different menu. Follow these steps to invite your friends:
- First, open the Relationships panel in your Zoi’s menu.
- Look for the Call Over button, which is marked with a location-finding icon, and click it.
- Select which Zoi (or Zois) you want to invite over. That means that you can invite multiple Zois for a group gathering.
- After selecting everyone you wish to invite, press Call Zois to send the invitation.
- Once the invitation is sent, you’ll see a portrait of the invited Zois on the edge of your screen, showing when they’ll arrive. When they do, you’ll see the Rendezvous! message popup.
If a Zoi is unavailable, you’ll see a notification explaining why. Common reasons include the Zoi being at work or busy with other activities.
Despite its clunky implementation, inZOI’s invitation system is otherwise quite flexible. You can invite not only family members but also any of your Zoi’s acquaintances, including friends, coworkers, and even strangers. This gives you plenty of options for socializing and perhaps even starting a budding romance.
Can you invite Zois to different locations?
Yes, you’re not limited to inviting Zois just to your house. The Call Over function works at any open-world location in inZOI, such as the beach, a park, and other public spaces. It’s a great way to meet friends and acquaintances wherever you are in the world.
Alternatively, if you’re out in the world and prefer not to use the Relationships panel, you can also invite a Zoi over by clicking on the ground near your Zoi. This will let you choose the Call Over interaction, allowing you to select from a list of Zois to invite.
