Marvel Rivals Season 2 has begun with a dazzling selection of in-game events, including the highly anticipated Hellfire Gala: Moments, which runs from May 2 to May 23, 2025. This mutant-inspired event, set on the vivid Krakoa map, encourages players to join in a celebration of style and strategy reminiscent of Marvel Comics’ renowned Hellfire Gala.
The event, which is divided into three acts, allows players to obtain rare items such as the highly sought-after Wolverine Patch skin, with his trademark white costume and eye patch. From exploring Krakoa’s rich landscapes to participating in community-driven contests, Hellfire Gala: Moments promises a dynamic experience that combines narrative depth with competitive flair.
To add to the excitement, this event includes two new currencies: X-Coins and Vote Tokens. These currencies are intended to increase the event’s interactivity by allowing participants to interact with special mechanics that enrich the Hellfire Gala experience. Here’s how to get them both during gameplay.
How to earn and use Marvel Rivals X-Coins and Vote Tokens
The Marvel Rivals Hellfire Gala Moments event has two event-specific currencies: X-Coins and Vote Tokens that are required to complete the event’s three acts and obtain exclusive rewards.

To get X-Coins, complete the Hellfire Trading Company Gifts event mission in Act 2. Missions include objectives like dealing damage, obtaining KOs, and winning matches on the Krakoa map in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs. AI modes. The event page contains specific mission details, and missions are updated on a daily or weekly basis. To complete these faster, players should prioritize Quick Match (Krakoa). Each mission normally rewards 50-100 X-Coins, while Act 2 requires at least 200 X-Coins to claim four gifts (50 X-Coins per gift).
In Act 2, X-Coins are used to get gifts from the Hellfire Trading Company. Eight distinct gifts are available, including the Emma Frost “To Me, My X-Men” emote. For more information, refer to the “Rewards Preview” on the Act 2 screen. Collecting four gifts brings you closer to the Wolverine Patch costume.
Vote Tokens can be won by completing missions in Act 3, “Gala Star Vote.” These missions, like Act 2, feature missions such as stunning enemies or performing certain roles. Each mission rewards one to three vote tokens.
In Act 3, spend one Vote Token each vote to support one of eight heroes (for example, Emma Frost or Wolverine) for a 2026 Hellfire Gala costume. Act 3 is completed by casting ten votes, by which you can unlock a personalized Gallery Card. Concentrate on daily missions, play frequently, and keep an eye on the event page for updates to maximize rewards before the event expires.
