These are the best builds for Lynx in Honkai Star Rail. Lynx is a four-star character added during patch 1.3 of Star Rail. As an Abundance Quantum character, Lynx is a brilliant healer who can fit into any of your teams, which means the best builds for Lynx focus on her healing capabilities.

Lynx was released alongside two five-star characters, so if you want to know the best builds for Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae and the best builds for Fu Xuan, make sure you read our guides covering them. Now, on to Lynx’s best builds.

Lynx best Light Cones for Support builds

The best Light Cone for Lynx is Time Waits for No One – the five-star signature Light Cone of Bailu. We should mention that if you have other healers, such as Luocha or Bailu, then this Light Cone should go to them, since you can switch them around on the fly it isn’t a huge issue. Lynx is an Abundance character geared entirely towards healing and removing debuffs, making her extremely useful at keeping your team alive in dire situations. Outside of Time Waits for No One, Post-Op Conversation and Warmth Shortens Cold Nights are brilliant Light Cone choices for Lynx to increase her Energy Regen and Outgoing Healing.

There are several four-star Light Cone options for Lynx that work well, so take your pick of them from the table below. Don’t worry if you don’t have the five-star cone, they will be helpful but are by no means required to make use of Lynx. Lynx’s main stat is HP and her healing power scales off her max HP. When trying the best builds for Lynx, make sure you focus on HP. Any of the following Light Cones will help you get the best Lynx builds in Honkai.

Light ConeRarityEffect
Time Waits for No One5-StarIncreases the wearer’s Max HP by 18% and Outgoing Healing by 12%. When the wearer heals allies, record the amount of Outgoing Healing. When any ally launches an attack, a random attacked enemy takes Additional DMG equal to 36% of the recorded Outgoing Healing value. This Additional DMG is of the same Type as the wearer’s, is not affected by other buffs, and can only occur 1 time per turn.
Warmth Shortens Cold Nights4-StarIncreases the wearer’s Max HP by 16%. When using Basic ATK or Skill, restores all allies’ HP by an amount equal to 2.0% of their respective Max HP. Warmth Shortens Cold Night is a great pick for Lynx’s best Light Cone because her healing scales off of HP.
Post-Op Conversation4-StarIncreases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 8% and increases Outgoing Healing when they use their Ultimate by 12%.
Shared FeelingsIncreases the wearer’s Outgoing Healing by 10%. When using Skill, regenerates 2 Energy for all allies.
Quid Pro Quo4-StarAt the start of the wearer’s turn, regenerates 8 Energy for a randomly chosen ally (excluding the wearer) whose current Energy is lower than 50%.
✓ Jack’s Opinion

Our pick for Lynx’s best Light Cone

We think the best all-round Light Cone pick for Lynx is Warmth Shortens Cold Nights. It is effectively Lynx’s signature Light Cone and the healing effect provided by it combined with the HP increase is brilliant for a Lynx healing support build

Since many of us don’t have the five-star Light Cone – and the only five-star Abundance Light Cone is better on Luocha or Bailu – Lynx can benefit significantly from Warmth Shortens Cold Night, Post-Op Conversations, or Shared Feelings. If in doubt, give Lynx the Light Cone with the best and biggest HP increase to bolster her healing. This focus will give you the best builds for Lynx in Honkai Star Rail.

Lynx best Relics and Planar Ornament for Support builds

Lynx’s best Relic set is the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace, while Lynx’s best Planar Ornament set is tied between Broken Keel and Fleet of the Ageless. Messenger Traversing Hackerspace provides a Speed bonus to the party when using your Ultimate, which means her Ultimate will heal the whole party, remove debuffs, and buff everyone’s speed in one move. This is the best build for Lynx by far.

Broken Keel helps provide a party-wide Crit DMG increase while Fleet of the Ageless will give Lynx more HP and an ATK% buff to the party, which translates to better healing and more consistent damage output for the team. Between these two, pick whichever you’d prefer as there is no wrong answer.

Relic Set
Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
Two-piece bound: Increases SPD by 6%.
Four-piece bonus: When the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally, SPD for all allies increases by 12% for 1 turn. This effect cannot be stacked.
The Messenger Traversing Hackerspace is the best Relic set for Lynx. It gives her Speed and provides a Speed buff to the party when using her Ultimate. Be mindful that the Speed boost can’t be stacked, which means you really only need one character in your party with the Messenger set.
Planar OrnamentFleet of the AgelessIncreases the wearer’s Max HP by 12%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, all allies’ ATK increases by 8%.This will increase Lynx’s HP – which means more powerful HP and survivability – while also providing an ATK% boost to all allies if her Speed is over 120, which would require a Speed main stat on her Relics.
Planar OrnamentBroken KeelIncreases the wearer’s Effect RES by 10%. When the wearer’s Effect RES is at 30% or higher, all allies’ CRIT DMG increases by 10%.This set bonus will increase Lynx’s Effect RES and give allies a boost to Crit DMG if she has 30% or more. Lynx can get this bonus depending on her Relic stats and by activating some of her Traces.

Relic Main Stats and Sub Stats

To break it down in simple terms, Lynx’s best build is a support healer. The best Relics and Planar Ornaments for Lynx must focus on HP, Energy Recharge, and Speed to make the most of her support skills.

PieceMain Stat
ChestOutgoing Healing or HP
BootsSPD or HP%
SphereHP%
Link RopeEnergy Regen or HP%

When it comes to main and substats on your sets, you want to focus on HP, Speed and Energy Regen. HP on your Relics is a main priority, so if you happen to get any on your substats, that is preferable but something like Speed or Energy Regen would be better.

Lynx Traces priority

When thinking of the best builds for Lynx in Honkai, you need to focus on Lynx’s Traces. Traces must be levelled to ensure her Healing can be as effective as possible. Out of everything, you can completely ignore levelling Lynx’s Basic Attack Trace, since she will almost never want to use it. Level Lynx’s Traces in this order: Skill, UItimate, and then her Talent. You should only level Lynx’s Basic Attack if you’re bored and have maxed out her other Traces, otherwise, it is simply not worth using any resources on this Trace.

TraceEffect
Basic AttackIce Crampon Technique: Deals Quantum DMG equal to a single target.
SkillSalted Camping Cans: Applies “Survival Response” to a single target ally and increases their Max HP by 5.0% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 50. If the target ally is a character on the Path of Destruction or Preservation, the chance of them being attacked by enemies will greatly increase. “Survival Response” lasts for 2 turns. Restores the target’s HP by 8.0% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 80.
UltimateSnowfield First Aid: Dispels one debuff from all allies and immediately restores their respective HP by an amount equal to 9.0% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 90.
TalentOutdoor Survival Experience: When using Lynx’s Skill or Ultimate, apply continuous healing to the target ally for two turns, restoring the target ally’s HP by an amount equal to 2.4% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 24. At the start of each turn, if the target has “Survival Response”, the continuous healing effect additionally restores HP by an amount equal to 3.0% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 30.
TechniqueChocolate Energy Bar: After Lynx uses her Technique, at the start of the next battle, all allies are granted her Talent’s continuous healing effect, lasting for 2 turns.
Bonus AbilitySurvival in the Extreme: Extends the duration of the continuous healing effect granted by the Talent for 1 turn.
Bonus AbilityExploration Techniques: Increases the chance to resist Crowd Control debuffs by 35%.
Bonus AbilityAdvance Surveying: After a target with “Survival Response” is hit, Lynx regenerates 2 Energy immediately.

Lynx Eidolons

We don’t recommend pulling specifically for four-star characters since it is entirely random for which one you get from the banner out of the three featured four-star characters. However, if you are interested in Lynx’s Eidolons, then knowing which ones to aim for is beneficial.

EidolonResonance Effect
E1 – Morning of Snow HikeWhen healing allies with HP equal to or lower than 50%, Lynx’s Outgoing Healing increases by 20%. This effect also works on continuous healing.
E2 – Noon of Portable FurnaceA target with “Survival Response” can resist debuff application for 1 time(s).
E3 – Afternoon of Avalanche BeaconSkill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
E4 – Dusk of Warm CampfireWhen “Survival Response” is gained, increases the target’s ATK by an amount equal to 3% of Lynx’s Max HP for 1 turn(s).
E5 – Night of Aurora TeaUltimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
E6 – Dawn of Explorer’s ChartAdditionally boosts the Max HP increasing effect of “Survival Response” by an amount equal to 6% of Lynx’s Max HP and increases Effect RES by 30%.

Lynx’s Eidolons are fairly decent for a four-star character, especially E1, E2, E4 and E6, all of which help to bolster her kit and give her even more utility and support capabilities. With that said, don’t plan to get seven copies of Lynx all at once – At E0 Lynx is already a phenomenal healer, blowing Natasha out of the water immediately.
