How to increase your motherboard memory in Ghostrunner 2

To increase your motherboard memory in Ghostrunner 2, you’ll need to collect Memory Shards. These are found dotted around Dharma and beyond, usually hidden away from the main path behind mini puzzles, breakable barriers, or platforming sections.

Each Memory Shard increases Jack’s overall memory by one and collecting a certain amount of them increases the level of your motherboard, which in turn unlocks more motherboard slots for upgrade chips, and later on, Ultimate Abilities. Upgrading the motherboard gets more expensive as you level it up. You can increase the motherboard to a maximum of level 8.

Memory Shards won’t start appearing in levels until the start of the Setting The Stage level, the game’s third level, and after you visit the Interface Council HQ for the first time. They are represented by a purple icon that looks like an SD Card, both when you approach them from Jack’s POV and on the minimap.
