Superman is the latest hero to come to Fortnite. While Epic Games added him back in Chapter 2, he returned in 2025, and now even has a Mythic item! This is undoubtedly one of the coolest things Fortnite has ever done, since turning into the Man of Steel guarantees an epic experience.
In this guide, we will explain how to become Superman in Fortnite. By turning into the popular DC superhero, you will gain Mythic powers that cannot be matched by any item in the game.
Where to get Superman’s Mythic item in Fortnite?
To turn into Superman, you will have to survive the first circle of a match. Approximately two minutes into the game, you will see a message on your screen that Superman’s call has appeared. Once this happens, bring up the map to see where you can pick it up. The item will fall from the sky, so make sure you are close to it.
As soon as the message appears, many other players will try to pick up Superman’s Mythic power. Due to this, pick up a few guns before heading over to the item location and get ready to fight off the enemies. Considering how popular the power is, you can expect at least five other players to go for it.
If you are lucky enough to pick it up, you will have a short animation that turns you into Superman. After this, you’ll fly into the sky and gain Mythic abilities that allow you to fly, laser enemies, and destroy structures with ease. However, you will also be marked on the map, and enemies will get bonus items for damaging you.
As Superman, you will have access to deadly abilities. Still, you will also have to fly away if too many enemies focus on you. If you die as the superhero, this won’t be the end of the game. You will simply respawn through a rift and continue the game.
Epic Games will release more Superman content with the next Fortnite update. Fortress of Solitude is a new POI that will arrive on July 15, and Superman will be an NPC in it, offering his services for Gold Bars.
