Fortnite just enabled the proximity chat Battle Royale for everyone! The Delulu mode was first released on Thursday, September 18, and only creators were given access to it. However, the game mode is now available to everyone, so queue up and check how fun it is!

In this guide, we’ll explain everything you need to know about Delulu in Fortnite. This new mode is similar to Zero Build, as it has no building and the goal is to be the last player standing. However, forming squads is slightly more complex, and that’s precisely what makes the mode so fun and exciting!

How to play Delulu mode in Fortnite?

Delulu is a new Fortnite Battle Royale mode that has proximity chat turned on by default. To be more precise, you must enable voice chat for everyone in order to play it. You can do this by going into game settings and changing Voice Chat to Everybody.

Once you set up the voice chat, all you need to do is queue up for the Delulu playlist. You can find the game mode from the Discover tab or by simply typing Delulu into the search bar.

You can queue up for a match with your squad, but you won’t be on the same team once a match starts. Instead, the game will put you in random locations, sometimes on opposite ends of the map. Due to this, you will have to use the proximity chat to team up with others and form squads on the fly.

To team up with others, you will have to invite them to your squad using a special emote. Alternatively, you can accept a squad invite from others by interacting with them while they are emoting. Furthermore, you can leave your squad at any point in the match, betraying your former teammates and making the game even more chaotic.

The new Fortnite game mode will likely only be available over weekends. However, we’ll have to wait for a final confirmation from Epic Games.
