Lil’ Armored Truck is a new Fortnite emote that you can unlock for free. The emote is available for a limited time, so make sure to grab it as soon as you can. While it may come to the Item Shop at a later date, this is your only chance to get it for free.
In this guide, we will explain how you can unlock the free emote. The process is extremely simple, but you may need to create a Twitch account if you don’t already have one.
How to get the free Fortnite emote from Twitch?
At the moment, you can only get the Lil’ Armored Truck emote from Twitch Drops. This is a synced traversal emote, which makes it perfect to use with friends! However, you only have until April 8 at 12 AM Eastern Time to get it. The emote is part of limited-time Fortnite Twitch Drops, and once the promotion ends, it will no longer be available.
To get the free emote, these are the steps you need to take:
- Log in to your Twitch account or create one
- Link your Twitch and Epic Games accounts
- Go to any participating channel
- The channel must stream Fortnite and have Drops enabled
- Watch the stream for two hours
- Claim the free emote
Once you start watching an eligible channel, you can track your progress on the Inventory page. When the progress gets to 100%, you will be able to claim the free reward. After doing so, the Lil’ Armored Truck emote will be automatically added to the Epic Games account you linked earlier.
Please note that you can only get the emote on channels that stream Fortnite and have Drops enabled. Otherwise, the watch time requirement will not track your progress, and you won’t receive the free cosmetic item.
