Epic Games has brought another awesome free cosmetic to Fortnite. This time, it’s an item many players have been waiting for. Fortnite’s latest update adds the opportunity to unlock the stylish Corvus Claws pickaxe, but you’ll have to act fast if you want to get it for free.

This guide will show you everything you need to know about the new free Fortnite pickaxe and the steps you have to take to get it in your locker. It’s important to note that the pickaxe has limited quantities, so you will have to compete for it with other players.

How to unlock the free Corvus Claws pickaxe in Fortnite

The new pickaxe is a reward from the Blitz Royale Mobile Cup. The cup, played in a Solo playlist, will be available on Thursday, August 28. By competing in it, you will be able to unlock two rewards: Corvo back bling and Corvus Claws pickaxe. The back bling is available only to everyone who scores five points in the cup, while the pickaxe is given to top performers in every region.

To unlock the Corvus Claws pickaxe in Fortnite, you will need to attend the cup and finish among the top players on your server. This is how high you need to rank in every region:

If you don’t manage to grab it in time, it’s likely that the Corvus Claws will appear in the Item Shop at a later date, but they will not be free. In the meantime, don’t miss out on free Fortnite skins that are currently available.
