College Football 25’s Dynasty mode offers you the chance to take the reigns of any of the 135 FBS teams. From reigning national champion Michigan to Akron, you have the opportunity to run whatever school you want. Some players enjoy rebuilding the bad schools and turning them into powerhouses, while others prefer to take good or even great teams and turn them into a (fittingly) dynasty in college football. This guide will provide some examples of the latter.
The kind of Dynasty mode you want to start will impact your decision. While this isn’t a rebuild guide, there are still various levels of teams to choose from. Most four and five-star programs are good options for dynasty mode. The latter is obviously the easiest. Picking one of the best teams in the nation ensures you have the best shot at winning it all over and over again in EA Sports’ latest title.
1 – Georgia
The best team to pick to truly run a dynasty is one that is arguably already in one – Georgia. They are routinely one of the best teams in the nation, including two national titles in the last three seasons. Picking them means you’ll have the best recruiting, an exceptional playbook, and a quality staff.
2 – Ohio State
Plenty of other programs in CFB 25 are great selections, but Ohio State is another really great pick. They are one of the top-rated teams in the sport, and they have a strong roster. They don’t have a solidified quarterback for the long run, but they have an exceptional coaching staff (theoretically helmed by you) and tons of dynamic playmakers. The quarterback issue can be resolved very easily through recruiting or transfers as well.
3 – NC State
Surprisingly, one of the best teams in college football from the ACC is NC State. Their program has really been on the rise, landing at an 87 OVR. Their defense is exceptional, and they’re not far from being a true powerhouse. With your guiding hand, they could reach that level in a year or less.
If you’d like a bit of a challenge in creating the dynasty, there are other good but not great teams to pick from like NC State. They could become a dynasty with a little bit of work. These schools are already good, but they need your controlling hand to take them to that next level that they might not truly be able to reach in the real world.
4 – UNC
Of course, some three-star programs can easily be turned into a dynasty if you want to challenge yourself even further. UNC is a good option. With an elite quarterback in Drake Maye, they’ve been bordering on a top program for the last two seasons. If you can recruit a good quarterback to replace him, they could easily reach that level again. This level of program has some prestige and some upward trajectory already. Ultimately, it comes down to how difficult you want it to be to become a dynasty.
5 – Colorado
Colorado is a team that is currently only average but might actually become a top program in the real world very soon. Why not jump in and try that path yourself? Of course, you would be running the show instead of Deion Sanders, but you would have everything he has at your disposal. This is an up-and-coming team that could be your dynasty very soon.
The best Dynasty teams, though, are the ones currently equipped to be one. Choose from there and you can start dominating the college football world right now. Choose other teams and it might take a season or two.
