DOOM The Dark Ages weapon Mastery Challenge list

Looking for a full DOOM The Dark Ages weapon Challenge list? Once you’ve invested enough gold, rubbies, and wraithstones to fully upgrade a weapon, you’ll unlock a Mastery Challenge. It’s basically a little bonus challenge to test your skills with that particular weapon and earn some bragging rights in the process. Note that they are different to Mission Challenges, which are mission specific objectives that grant gold.

While not essential to a playthrough, completing the Mastery Challenge for every weapon is needed to unlock the Fully Loaded and Gunpletionist trophies. In this guide, we’ll walk you through a full weapon Mastery Challenge list, including the criteria for each one, which we unlocked while playing for our review.

DOOM The Dark Ages Mastery Challenge list

Here all the Mastery Challenges for all the weapons:

Combat Shotgun	Barrel Stuffer	Hit 150 demons with every pellet from Combat Shotgun shots
Super Shotgun	Super Barrel Stuffer	Hit 150 demons with every pellet from Super Shotgun shots
Shredder	Burster	Cause secondary Pincushion or Ricochet damage to 100 demons with the Rail
Impaler	Acupuncture	Regenerate your melee charges with the Lobotomy bonus head shots from the Rail Spike Impaler 100 times
Accelerator	Redline	Cause Overload or Heatblast damage to 100 demons with the Plasma Rifle Accelerator.
Cycler	Thermal Runaway	Cause Overloaded or Lightning Arc damage to 500 demons with the plasma Rifle Cycler.
Pulverizer	Hunter	Cause charged damage to 250 demons with the Skullcrusher Pulverizer
Ravager	Gatherer	Gather 100 Skullcrusher ammo by damaging demons with the Supplier equipped Ravager
Chainshot	Reverberation	Cause explosive Cosmic Breach damage to 100 demons with fully charged Chainshot Reaver impacts
Grenade Launcher	Clusterfun	Cause secondary Fragment and Cataclysm damage to 100 demons with the Grenade Launcher cluster grenades
Rocket Launcher	Engorge	Heal yourself 50 times with the Cannibalism upgrade from close range blasts of the Rocket Launcher.

How to unlock weapon Mastery Challenges

To unlock a weapon Mastery Challenge, you’ll need to fully upgrade the weapon by spending gold, rubies, and wraithstones at Sentinel Shrines across the game’s 22 chapters, working your way down all the tiers. Once the weapon is fully upgraded, you can check the under the Mastery portion of the Challenges tab in the Dossier to view the specific requirements.
