Trying to find the Death Stranding 2 The Fisherman location? As you creep towards the closing Episodes of the story, there will only be a few regions that you’ll still need to connect to the Chiral Network. You’ll come across the facilities and shelters in most of these by following the story, but there are a handful that require some exploration, including the rather elusive The Fisherman prepper shelter.
While the facility name gives you a major clue, finding the shelter on the shores of the Tar Lake isn’t all that easy given the presence of BTs and the treacherous terrain. Due to him giving you some neat connection level rewards and unlocking a thrilling Sub Order side quest, we highly recommend taking the time to find the prepper. Where to find The Fisherman in Death Stranding 2
You’ll find The Fisherman prepper shelter on the northern shore of the Tar Lake located to the west of the Snowy Mountains in the crater just southwest of The Metagenomicist and north of the F5 East Distribution Centre. The easiest way to reach the shelter is to fast travel to The Metagenomicist using the DHV Magellan. From there, go south into the crater then head immediately west and stick to the foot of the hills. Follow the shore west until you spot a small dock and a bunker. Check out the image gallery above for different zoomed-in and zoomed-out map images to help you find the location.
To connect The Fisherman to the Chiral Network, you’ll need to complete Sub Order 116. You can pick up the Sub Order at the F5 East Distribution Centre, which you’ll reach during Main Order 034 in Episode 8 Deluge. Completing the Sub Order will push up the connection level to 1 stars. An efficient way to improve your connection level further is to take on and complete Sub Order 117. Here are all The Fisherman connection level rewards:
