Looking for the Blue Prince Terminal password? As you explore Mt. Holly you’ll come across several Terminals, specifically in the Security room, Laboratory, Office, and Shelter. While you can tweak certain settings without a password, you’ll need one to log into the Network and access more advanced features and clues, including electronic mail and experiments.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to find the Blue Prince Terminal password. If you just want the answer without hunting down clues and tracking it down yourself, scroll down to the second section if you aren’t bothered about spoilers.
Where to find the Blue Prince Terminal password
To find the Terminal password, you’ll first need to get hold of a magnifying glass, or A Wood and Brass Magnifying Glass as it’s called in Blue Prince. As the name implies, it lets you magnify photos and documents to reveal secrets and clues.
Unfortunately, it spawns at random in different rooms in the manor so there’s no tried and true method to track one down. We’ve come across it in rooms like the Guest Bedroom, Parlor, and Den. It’s also occasionally for sale in the Commissary.

With the magnifying glass in hand, draft a Security room and head over to the cork bulletin board near the desk with the microwave at the back. On there you can read a document called Staff Notice. Use the magnifying glass to zoom in on the scribbled out password at the bottom. The password is crossed out but you should be able to make out what it says.
Blue Prince Terminal password solution
The password to unlock the Terminal is swansong. It’s not case sensitive even though it appears with the first letter capitalized on the bulletin board. It doesn’t change with day resets and works on the Terminals in the Security room, Office, Shelter, and Laboratory.
Interact with any of the Terminals, go to ‘Login to Network’, then key in swansong. This will unlock several new features, including Staff Services, Remote Terminal Access, Electronic Mail, Data Transfers, and Glossary of Terms.
Note that some of these are only available in certain rooms. For example, Staff Services are only accessible from Security, while Electronic Mail can only be read from the Office. However, if you’ve already interacted with a Terminal in another room during that same day, the features will be available on any subsequent Terminals you interact with, regardless of their location.
