If you’re a competitive card game player, and you’re sinking your teeth into Disney Lorcana, you’re probably wondering what the best disney lorcana decks are in the format. Since the game’s inception there has been a ton of hype around the game, and Ravensburger officially supporting organized play means that there’s a reason to want to be the best. Today we’re going to look at the top five decks in the game right now.
These decks are chosen based upon a few factors, primarily a mix of tournament results, as well as Pixelborn ladder results. 5. Best Disney Lorcana decks – Amber / Amethyst
Our first best Disney Lorcana deck that we’re going to look at is Amber / Amethyst Villains. The goal of this deck is rather simple. This deck wants you play a lot of villains characters, and use songs to find more of them. It has some control elements, such as “You have Forgotten Me”, but you have more ways to recur and protect your villains than you’d expect. Eventually, you draw into Hades, King of Olympus. You ideally have enough Villains in play to have Hades quest for quite a lot of Lore.
4. Sapphire / Steel
Our next deck that we have is Sapphire / Steel Tempo. This deck is a deck that wants to make challenging favorable for you, allowing you to keep your characters on the board for longer. There are a lot of means to reduce opposing character’s strength, alongside a few solid damage actions that can pick off higher willpower characters. Eventually, you end up with a sizable board that can quest and win you the game.
3. Amber / Emerald
Deck number three on our list is Amber / Emerald. There’s a couple ways to build this ink combination, but the best way to go with this deck is Aggro. This deck is very straight forward in the way it’s played. You want to get characters down early and often and build a very quick lore lead. That’s where Amber shines. Emerald brings in characters that have effects that either help you keep characters around, or keep your hand full of cards to keep the momentum going.
2. Amber / Steel
Our number two deck is Amber Steel Midrange. This deck is a deck that wants to build its advantages from turns three to five, and keep that into the late game. A lot of the creatures live in those ink costs as well. You’re not without plenty of tools to keep your characters around or find others either. This is a deck that can grind against a lot of decks and come out on top.
1. Amethyst / Ruby
Our top deck, the best Disney Lorcana deck that you can play right now is Amethyst Ruby control. This is a very typcial feeling control deck that wants to dictate the pace of the game. It builds towards Aladdin – Heroic Outlaw, Elsa – Spirit of Winter and Maleficent – Monstrous Dragon as their top end. If you are someone that makes your opponents ask for permission to do things, and then deny them anyways, this is the deck for you.
