Another nightmarish adventure featuring a familiar protagonist has made its way to gaming consoles now that the Alan Wake 2 preload time and file size have been announced. With the game’s plot set to continue on from the equally terrifying events of the first installment, fans are predictably eager to get their hands on Remedy Entertainment’s sequel.

Alan Wake 2 preload time
The Alan Wake 2 preload time will take place at 9 PM PT / 12 AM ET / 5 AM BST / 7 AM EEST on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 24 and 25, 2023, for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Unfortunately, PC players will not be given a preload period and will instead have to remain patient until the day itself to install it onto their systems.
It’s also worth remembering that if you’re playing on the PC, Alan Wake 2’s graphical demands are relatively heavy, so you will need to allocate a sizable amount of storage space for it. - Xbox Series: 82 GB
- PC: 86 GB
Remedy Entertainment has noted that these are only approximate file sizes, which means it could still end up changing once you’ve begun downloading it. However, it should remain fairly close to the figures listed above, meaning you won’t have to worry about deleting any more of your precious games catalog to make room for it.
