FIFA 17 will feature a story mode that follows the journey of a fictional footballer, a leaked trailer has revealed.
The trailer shows various cutscenes from the unrevealed mode and introduces fictional Manchester United player Alex Hunter as the lead protagonist.
FIFA 17 releases on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on September 29. Expect an official reveal at EA’s E3 press conference from 9pm tonight. Watch EA Play live here on VideoGamer.com from 9pm BST.
UPDATE: EA has officially released the trailer following the leak, confirming that players will be able to play as Alex Hunter at any Premier League club.
UPDATE 2: An update on EA’s website states that the story mode “is a new cinematic narrative mode in FIFA 17 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC,” suggesting that it will not be available in the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions.
