Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the…. What. Christmas is over? Pift, not in our hearts it’s not, NEVER! We hope you all enjoyed your time off (if your work permitted it that is). We managed to stuff many mince pies into our gobs whilst simultaneously fumbling a controller in attempt to play some of 2011’s biggest games over the break. While we did have fun, it’s now time to get down to the nitty gritty that is work. It’s a hard life for us, choosing who wins what and forced to play the odd game when it slides through our letterbox, but all these tasks are of high importance.

So, with the VideoGamer.com staff at their command posts and ready for 2012, it’s time to announce our winners of Member of the Month December. These good people of the forum have made VideoGamer.com a special place to be during the last month of the year. We’ve had a lot of great contributions throughout December and are delighted to give these people a mention.

Each winner will have the choice of any game (up to the value of £50) from GAME!

We’ve been running this promotion for years, with the results announced on the forums and our podcast. We like to go into a little more detail, with a brief explanation of why we’ve picked the specific winners each month.

It’s important to mention that if you did not win this time around, please do not feel unappreciated; we genuinely love all your contributions to VideoGamer.com, and as fortune has it, we’ll be picking another set of winners in precisely one month’s time.

Without any further delay, here are our Members of the Month for December:

Bloodstorm

One of our oldest members has won a podium spot this month. We’d like to give a Member of the Month award to Bloodstorm for his enthusiasm and goodwill around the forums here. He loves a bit of controversy, with his interest in the VGAs swaying towards the people involved rather than any of the actual games announced. Bloodstorm loves his fighting games, always keeping related threads alive and always wanting to know the juicy combo secrets others may have for him, unfortunately, you’re the pro around here dude; we all look up to you in the fighting department. Above all this, he has released all his super rare Doom files as a belated Christmas present. Thanks!

Munkee

Our colour-blind friend Munkee has also won his place on the Member of the Month board for being a solid contributor and all around dude. It’s his first win and he really has been great during the colder months. He’s started some interesting discussions about game settings and game focus to name but a few. We also rather enjoyed his daily stories in Skyrim. Keep up the good work.

SexyJams

Your contributions haven’t gone unnoticed SexyJams as you take our final spot here for Member of the Month December. We enjoy knowing what’s going on in sexy land with his updates in the General Discussion Thread; although we are slightly worried you may become too superhuman for us with your badass workouts! We also love that he loves us!, not only this but we have found his thread Creativity In Games? quite thought provoking to say the least. Keep doing what you’re doing sir.

Congratulations once again to our winners, and warm thanks to everyone who’s contributed over the past month. If you’d like to suggest someone for MOTM, why not add your thoughts to the Member of the Month: Forum Edition thread? While we always make our own decision, we keep an eye on the chat in there.
