Do you remember a time at school when you just couldn’t get your head around something? Did those differential equations cause you a few headaches? We know how you feel (well at least Simon, VideoGamer.com’s resident simpleton does), but we all made it through school alive and well. So when we say Echochrome, Sony’s brain bending puzzle game, made our heads melt, you should get some idea of how torturously difficult it is. Think of M. C. Escher’s perspective warping drawings and you’re only halfway to understanding the game.

Videos show how it’s played far better than words can, so we’ve put together some footage of the opening ‘simple’ stages – although you can be judge of whether they’re simple or not. All footage is taken from the PS3 version.

Although these videos only cover the first set of stages in the game, they do show how to solve them, so should be considered spoilers if you want to come to the game completely fresh.
