EA has released a 4 minute gameplay clip of Need For Speed: Most Wanted, showing

a bright yellow Porsche 911 Carrera racing through the open-world Fairhaven City, and sparking fond memories of yesteryear’s Burnout games.

The video shows us much of what to expect from Most Wanted’s gameplay, including collectibles inspired by Burnout Paradise, such as security gates and billboards, as well as free-form open-world racing, epic car chases, stunt-based driving and chassis-shaking takedowns.

Is Need For Speed: Most Wanted a spiritual successor to Burnout Paradise?

Need For Speed: Most Wanted was officially revealed by EA during its E3 press conference last night.

The game is currently in development at Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit developer Criterion games and due for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PC, iOS and Android on November 2, 2012.
