Heads-Up returns for another week to get you pumped for the games that are planning to invade your world in just a few days time. Here’s what you need to decide upon before Friday.

Recommended: Fire Emblem – Awakening – 3DS

It’s an easy week for ‘recommended’ as Fire Emblem: Awakening, the latest in the series, arrives on 3DS. Relying on the tried and tested mechanics that made the franchise a niche gem up to this point, Intelligent Systems has continued to polish its RPG experience to improve it yet further. Worth a look

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a spiritual sequel to 2008’s Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, although, very deliberately, you’d never know it. Much like the recent MK reboot two years ago, NetherRealm has done all it can to create an accessible yet somewhat deep fighting game. Throw in the the beloved stable of DC characters and a unique take on environments and this should actually be a solid beat-’em-up. At least we hope.

Unfortunately, our review will be slightly later than we thought as we’ve been told review code won’t be with us till after the embargo, which lifts tomorrow.

It’s also a special week for those who enjoy DLC. Call Of Duty: Black Ops II receives its Uprising pack, first on 360 as per usual, while Dishonored expands with Knife Of Dunwall. Expect our opinions tomorrow, but we imagine such trinkets are already instant purchases for the many people still enamoured with both games.
