What is the difference between Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days?
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is effectively a second Prime Day. Much like the summer Prime Day event, this October event will bring deals across Amazon’s different departments. You’ll be able to save on tech, homeware, fashion department, and more. This summer, Prime Day fell on Tuesday 11th July and Wednesday 12th July; Prime Big Deal Days will fall on Tuesday 10th October and Wednesday 11th October. We’re calling Prime Big Deal Days, ‘Prime Day’, as both events represent a 48-hour period of fantastic, Amazon-exclusive deals and offers.
Where can I get an early Prime Day SSD deal?
Although many retailers are likely to release SSD deals ahead of Prime Day, we’d recommend starting your search at Amazon. As Prime Day approaches, we’re sure to see lots of early deals worth capitalising on. Whilst the Prime Day sales will be open exclusively to Prime members, early Prime Day deals won’t be. So, if you’re still on the fence about whether it’s worth signing up for Prime to take part in Prime Day, you can grab an early deal on the site without splashing out on a membership. And, in case you were wondering, we think it’s certainly worth getting a membership to take part in Prime Day!
Should I get an early Prime Day SSD deal or wait until Black Friday?
Black Friday is legendary for excellent deals, especially on tech. However, Prime Day will also be a huge deals event. It’s difficult to say which event will bring the best SSD deals. You might be able to get a more value-packed SSD deal if you wait until Black Friday. But you’ll also risk missing out on a better Prime Day deal if the Black Friday SSD offers disappoint. If you find an SSD that you like and it’s at a limited-time price that you can afford, we recommend grabbing that deal sooner rather than later. So, we think it’s best to make the most of the early Prime Day deals if you find an SSD particularly suited to your needs and budget.
