Microsoft has confirmed to GameSpot that the first title to hit Xbox LIVE Arcade in September will be CrunchTime Games’ top-down shoot ’em up, Shred Nebula.
The game will be available on September 3 priced 800 MS Points. The game promises a unique shmup experience featuring a host of weapons, space craft, single-player game modes and multiplayer support.
It’ll need to do something a bit different given how strong the shmup support is on XBLA. Recently we’ve seen the release of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, which is soon to be joined by Galaga Legions.
