Asked by GamePro when we can expect the PlayStation Network to slip into gear, Tretton said: “Very, very soon, almost to the point of being overwhelming,“
He added that there are currently 41 games in development for the PlayStation Network, titles which are being “developed specifically for the PS3.“
“… really it will happen this fall… we’ll get there well before the holiday timeframe,” said Tretton. “Every month you’ll just see more and more content on there it’ll get to the point where it’s really rich by September. And I think that will be timed really nicely with the advent of Home as well.“
The first relatively high-profile PSN release will be David Jaffe’s Calling All Cars which after a recent delay looks likely to hit the service in June.
