Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash will offer support for a range of amiibo figures when it launches on November 20 for Wii U, Nintendo has announced.

Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, Rosalina, Wario, Toad and Donkey Kong amiibo can be used with the game to create an AI doubles partner for both online matches and the offline Knockout Challenge mode. The more matches your amiibo plays, the more experience it’ll gain with its abilities increasing over time.

As a limited launch offer, all those who buy Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash from the Nintendo eShop will receive a free download code for Nintendo 64 game Mario Tennis on Wii U Virtual Console.

Two new controller designs – Wii Remote Plus Toad and Wii Remote Plus Bowser – will also be available on November 20.
